Centrum Architects were engaged to design an exciting new Community Hub in Sebastopol. The new facility has been designed around the existing established native trees retained on the site.

Sections of textured brickwork, vertical timber battens and expansive glazing have been employed to ‘break up’ the elongated building form, creating a more ‘domestic-looking’ facade. A warm and calming colour palette of muted yellows, greys and greens takes inspiration from the neighbouring trees. The kindergarten external play spaces have been positioned to maximise the northern light.

The multipurpose hub includes:

  • Maternal Child and Heath Care Facilities
  • Community Rooms for Senior Citizens
  • Kindergarten Facilities
  • Library / Reading Spaces / Meeting Rooms
