Centrum were engaged in 2018 to design a new netball pavilion in Diamond Creek. The new pavilion has been designed across two levels to mitigate the challenges associated with the site located in a flood prone area. The pavilion is raised with open spectator viewing space underneath to achieve the required datum heights to prevent flooding. The elevated pavilion can be accessed by a wheelchair accessible ramp that wraps around two sides of the exterior. The curved structure and wire mesh to the front façade take their design inspiration from a netball goal ring and net.
The facility consists of:
- Internal partition system for flexibility of use
- Cafeteria
- First aid room.
