The Leura Park Pavilion is an attention-grabbing highway lantern luring patrons to enter, taste, eat and enjoy. “Give me a shed with a hair-do” was the unusual initial brief from our client. Designed to sell pizzas, the pavilion has become a stage for life – a weekend session on the grass, a sound-shell for cultural theatre, jazz and music performances in the evenings, a wedding and party venue and an unexpected icon for Bellarine Peninsula Tourism.
The pavilion was constructed in only 3 months and opened to thousands of patrons celebrating the Toast of the Coast Festival in November 2013.
